Movable Arpeggios
This free Guitar For Beginners lesson will teach you movable arpeggios. An arpeggios is when you play notes of a chord individually. Start off by learning the F#m, C#m & Bm chords shown below. In this exercise we will use the top 3 strings to play the arpeggios.

By now you should have learned the fingering of the 3 minor chords shown above. Try and make the transition from chord to chord as smooth as possible. This will be easier once you have become familiar with the chords. Each of the arpeggio patterns is movable. If you move the 1st arpeggio pattern down 2 frets then you play a Em arpeggio pattern. This fingering will remain the same just move up or down the fretboard. Experiment with these arpeggio patterns and learn to play the guitar!
