Blues Guitar Lesson - Blues G Riff (Part 2)
This free blues guitar lesson teaches you another Blues Riff in G using the G Minor Pentatonic Scale .This is a variation of the 1st Blues G Riff that you saw earlier and it uses the 2nd pattern of the minor pentatonic scale. Try playing this in the twelve bar blues chord progression after you have finished this lesson. This blues guitar riff is easy to play because it only uses the top 2 strings. When playing this blues guitar riff or any other guitar riff try and play the root note, in this case G, when that chord is being played. The root note here in on the E string 3rd fret because this note is a G.
